Projects
French Farms Blvd Bridge Over Town Creek
Morell Engineering provided roadway design for the construction of the new bridge over Town Creek. Morell Engineering also provided the original topographic survey, geotechnical testings, CE&I and stormwater management services.
US 31 & Huntsville Brownsferry Road Intersection Improvements
Intersection improvements, including roadway widening, and roadway design, were done at the intersection of US 31 and Huntsville Brownsferry. Morell Engineering also provided curb and gutter design as well as drainage improvements.
Fielding Road Bridge Replacements and Coxey Creek Approaches
This project replaced a substandard concrete bridge with a double barrel bridge culvert. The road was widened, shoulders were reconstructed, and utilities were relocated. Morell Engineering also provided the initial survey, design plans, permitting, geotechnical investigation and reporting, and CE&I.
State Route 251 and US 31 Intersection Improvements
A capacity expansion was deigned for US 31 and Route 251. Morell Engineering also provided CE&I services for this project.
Forrest Street/Lindsay Lane Sidewalks
Morell Engineering designed over two miles of sidewalks along Forrest Street and Lindsay Lane, located in Athens, AL. CE&I and various surveys were also provided by Morell Engineering.
Wilkinson Street Design and Extension
Morell Engineering designed and extended Wilkinson Road leading to Asahi Kasei Plastics. CE&I and various surveys were also provided by Morell Engineering.
Forest Street Bridge Repacement
Morell Engineering provided surveying, civil design, geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing (CMT) and Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CE&I) services for this project. CMT services were performed during site grading, deep foundation installation, bridge construction, and paving.
Old Highway 20 Bridge Replacement
Morell Engineering provided surveying, civil design, geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing (CMT) and Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CE&I) services for this project. CMT services were performed during site grading, deep foundation installation, bridge construction, and paving.
