Guntersville High School, Guntersville, AL, 2021 to present

The new Guntersville High School is a 125,000-square-foot facility featuring academic spaces, a performing arts auditorium, fine arts areas, parking, and site improvements. Morell Engineering provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing (CMT) services.

Athens Transfer Station, Athens, AL, 2022 to 2023

The Athens-Limestone County Solid Waste Transfer Station is a $5 million facility designed to modernize regional waste management, featuring heavy-duty structures, reinforced concrete tipping floors, and advanced leachate management. Morell Engineering provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing (CMT) services.

Ardmore WWTP, Ardmore, AL, 2023 to present

The new Ardmore Wastewater Treatment Plant is a $22 million overhaul and expansion designed to replace the aging facility and increase capacity to 0.9 MGD. Improvements include modernized grit removal, influent pumping, aeration basins, and secondary clarifiers to improve treatment reliability.

Athens High School

The new Athens High School is a 273,000-square-foot facility designed for 1,200–1,500 students. The campus features a full-capacity storm shelter, collegiate-style layout, STEM and innovation labs, and a 1,200-seat fine arts center.
