Our Work in Action

Elkmont TAP

The Elkmont Downtown Streetscape project is a comprehensive revitalization project anchored by an ALDOT Transportation Alternatives Program grant. This project created new ADA-compliant sidewalks from Elkmont High School to historic downtown Elkmont and integrated traffic calming along Upper Fort Hampton Road.

Project No. TAPAA-TA21(919), City of Athens

The Elm Street Pedestrian Connectivity project improved access between residential areas and the US Highway 31 commercial corridor with new sidewalks and a pedestrian bridge. Morell Engineering provided surveying, civil, geotechnical, CMT, and CE&I services.

Cullman High School Athletic Improvements

The Cullman High School athletic expansion includes synthetic turf for the soccer and softball fields, four turfed practice diamonds, updated bleachers, sports lighting, and improved pedestrian connectivity.

Northeast Alabama Community College

The NACC Softball and Soccer Athletic Complex in Rainsville, Alabama, is a $9 million NJCAA-level sports facility featuring synthetic turf fields, a 10,000-square-foot indoor training center, advanced drainage systems, and improved walking trails.

City of Athens Sportsplex

The Athens Sportsplex is a regional sports facility designed for high-occupancy tournaments, featuring a new four-field baseball and softball complex with batting cages, shade structures, and a central concessions, restroom, and scorekeeping building.
